HE RACE FOR BRANDED-CONTENT STUDIOS IS ON: COVETEUR COULD BE AN INTERESTING MEDIA ACQUISITION TARGET I already wrote a number of articles about the need of media players to re-invent their business model. The extension of their value chains to branded-content studios as being one of the key strategic pillars. Now time has evolved and a number of players have started to invest in organically ramping up their creative studios. I think that by now, we have passed the critical point where such an organic development becomes impossible. If you´re still not on the track, you should rather look into acquisition.  COVETEUR could be a very interesting target, for a number of reasons, in order to accelerate the ramp up of a style/fashion/luxury-lifestyle competency, an access to an interesting additional online distribution channel (instagram, website, etc.) with over 3 Million of followers and, now even more important, with an creative competency that has access to the big brands. If I was managing a (traditional) TV or publishing house, I´d definitely take a closer look into Coveteur and a number of other candidates.
